Preparation method of 2, 2'-butylidene bis(4-methyl-6-tert-butyl phenol)

The invention discloses a preparation method of 2, 2'-butylidene bis(4-methyl-6-tert-butyl phenol). The preparation method includes: adding 4-methyl-6-tert-butyl phenol, sulfuric acid aqueous solution and emulsifier into a reaction kettle according to the mass ratio of 1:(1-6):(0.003-0.024), and evenly stirring; slowly dropwisely adding n-butanal, wherein the mass ratio of the 4-methyl-6-tert-butyl phenol to the n-butanal is 1:(0.2-0.4); performing reaction at 60-100 DEG C for 4-14 hours; adding organic solvent accounting for 30-200% of the volume of the solution of the third step into the solution, evenly stirring, and performing liquid separation; performing cooling and suction filtration on the upper-layer solution after the liquid separation, and drying filter cake to obtain the 2, 2'-butylidene bis(4-methyl-6-tert-butyl phenol).
