WHITE CRYSTALLINE SOLID
Reactivity Profile
Isocyanates and thioisocyanates are incompatible with many classes of compounds, reacting exothermically to release toxic gases. Reactions with amines, aldehydes, alcohols, alkali metals, ketones, mercaptans, strong oxidizers, hydrides, phenols, and peroxides can cause vigorous releases of heat. Acids and bases initiate polymerization reactions in these materials. Some isocyanates react with water to form amines and liberate carbon dioxide. Polyurethanes are formed by the condensation reaction of diisocyanates with, for example, ethyl glycol.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 4128-73-8 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 4,1,2 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 4128-73:
(6*4)+(5*1)+(4*2)+(3*8)+(2*7)+(1*3)=78
78 % 10 = 8
So 4128-73-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Hydrolytically degradable polyester/silicon co-crosslinked matrices
-
, (2008/06/13)
Polyester/silicon co-crosslinked polymer substrates at least partially degradable by hydrolysis, well adopted as matrices for the controlled release of a wide variety of active agents therefrom, are prepared by controlledly co-crosslinking (a) at least one diorganopolysiloxane having at least two hydroxyl groups per molecule and (b) an oligomeric polylactic and/or polyglycolic polyester α,ω-diol, with an effective co-crosslinking amount of (c) an organic polyisocyanate.
