Description
Vat Yellow 28 is a red light yellow dye that is soluble in 1, 2, 3, 4-Tetrahydronaphthalene and Xylene. It has strong sulfuric acid properties and can produce a palm red light color when diluted, resulting in an orange precipitation. In alkaline solutions, it forms an insurance powder red brown color, while in acidic insurance powder solutions, it turns yellow brown with a green fluorescent.

Preparation
(a) Aluminum chloride with sulfuric acid or imine of N-(9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydroanthracene-1-yl)-1-aminoanthracene-9,10-dione; (b) will nitrobenzene 1-Nitro-2-chloroanthraquinone?and copper heated and then reduced to the 1,1′-Diamino-2,2′-bianthraquinone, then sulfuric acid or chlorine zinc cyclization; (C) In nitrobenzene using copper processing?2-Bromo-1,1′-iminodianthraquinone.
