General Description
(S)-alpha.-(aminomethyl)-3-hydroxybenzyl alcohol hydrochloride, also known as noradrenaline bitartrate, is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C8H11NO3.HCl. It is an adrenergic agonist and sympathomimetic agent that acts as a neurotransmitter and hormone in the sympathetic nervous system. Noradrenaline bitartrate is used in the treatment of low blood pressure and shock, as it stimulates the heart and increases blood pressure. It also has vasoconstrictive properties, making it useful in the management of hypotension and as a cardiac stimulant during anesthesia. Additionally, it is sometimes used as a bronchodilator and in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, and anxiety disorders.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 43090-68-2 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 4,3,0,9 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 43090-68:
(7*4)+(6*3)+(5*0)+(4*9)+(3*0)+(2*6)+(1*8)=102
102 % 10 = 2
So 43090-68-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
