Description
EXO1 is a protein that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including DNA repair, recombination, and replication. It is a member of the structure-specific nuclease family and is involved in the recognition and processing of DNA structures, such as double-strand breaks and replication intermediates.
Uses
Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
EXO1 is used as a synthetic compound for the preparation of tricyclic heterocyclic compounds. These compounds act as antagonists of the tachykinin receptor (substance P receptor), which can be utilized in the prevention and/or treatment of substance P-related diseases. By targeting the tachykinin receptor, these compounds can potentially alleviate the symptoms associated with these conditions and provide therapeutic benefits to patients.
Biological Activity
Reversible inhibitor of vesicular trafficking between endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus. Modifies Golgi ADP-ribosylation factor (ARF)1 GTPase activity and inhibits exocytosis (IC 50 ~ 20 mM). Has similar, but not identical, action to brefeldin A (1,6,7,8,9,11ab,12,13,14,14aa-Decahydro-1b,13a-dihydroxy-6b-methyl-4H-cyclopent(f)oxacyclotridecin-4-one ).
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 461681-88-9 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 4,6,1,6,8 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 461681-88:
(8*4)+(7*6)+(6*1)+(5*6)+(4*8)+(3*1)+(2*8)+(1*8)=169
169 % 10 = 9
So 461681-88-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
