462-56-6 Usage
General Description
Phosphorodichloridic acid, 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl ester is a chemical compound that is commonly used as a reagent for the synthesis of various organic compounds. It is a derivative of phosphoric acid and contains two chloride groups and a 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl group. Phosphorodichloridic acid, 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl ester is highly reactive and is commonly used in the production of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and other fine chemicals. It is important to handle this chemical with caution as it can be corrosive and toxic if not properly controlled and manipulated.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 462-56-6 includes 6 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 3 digits, 4,6 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 462-56:
(5*4)+(4*6)+(3*2)+(2*5)+(1*6)=66
66 % 10 = 6
So 462-56-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

The catalytic phosphorylation of α-polyfluoroalkylbenzyl alcohols by bis(polyfluoroalkyl) chlorophosphates is a convenient method for the synthesis of various bis(polyfluoroalkyl)(α-polyfluoroalkylbenzyl) phosphates, including those having donor substituents in the benzene ring.It was shown that in the series of p-methyl-α-trifluoromethylbenzyl phosphates p-CH3C6H4CH(CF3)OP(O)XY (where X, Y = Cl, CF3CH2O), the ability to act as O-alkylating agents with respect to polyfluorinated alcohols is a common characteristic, and the alkylating ability increases symbatically with increase in the overall electron-acceptor strength of the X and Y substituents at the phosphorus atom.
