5008-49-1 Usage
Description
21-Ethyl-4-methyl-16-methylene-7,20-cycloveatchane-1α,12α,15β-triol 15-acetate is an atisine alkaloid derived from Aconitum lucidusculum and A. yeosoensis. It has an empirical formula of C27H43NO4 and exhibits a specific rotation of [α]D95.5° (CHCI3). The alkaloid forms colorless leaflets when crystallized from MeOH and contains a secondary and a tertiary hydroxyl group. It can be converted into various salts, such as hydrochloride, hydrobromide, hydriodide, perchlorate, methiodide, and picrate, each with distinct melting points and specific rotations. The alkaloid also forms a monoacetate as a crystalline trihydrate with a melting point of 113-7°C or 139-144°C (dry) and a specific rotation of [α]15D50.4° (H20). Upon alkaline hydrolysis, it yields acetic acid and Luciduline.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 5008-49-1 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 5,0,0 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 5008-49:
(6*5)+(5*0)+(4*0)+(3*8)+(2*4)+(1*9)=71
71 % 10 = 1
So 5008-49-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
