5-Phenyl-2-furoic acid is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C11H8O3. It is a phenyl-substituted derivative of furan-2-carboxylic acid, and is also known as 5-phenylfuran-2-carboxylic acid. 5-PHENYL-2-FUROIC ACID is often used as an intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and organic compounds.
