Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 566944-05-6 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 5,6,6,9,4 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 566944-05:
(8*5)+(7*6)+(6*6)+(5*9)+(4*4)+(3*4)+(2*0)+(1*5)=196
196 % 10 = 6
So 566944-05-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Screening of our in-house compound collection led to the discovery of 5-bromo-6-amino-2-isoquinoline 1 as a weak inhibitor of IMPDH. Subsequent optimization of 1 afforded a series of novel 2-isoquinolinoaminooxazole-based inhibitors, represented by 17, with single-digit nanomolar potency against the enzyme.
