A highly regioselective protocol for intermolecular thiocyanation-amination of alkynes by N-thiocyano-dibenzenesulfonimide (NTSI) as the SCN and nitrogen sources has been developed. A C-S bond and C-N bond are simultaneously constructed in only one step.
