Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 5858-81-1 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 5,8,5 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 5858-81:
(6*5)+(5*8)+(4*5)+(3*8)+(2*8)+(1*1)=131
131 % 10 = 1
So 5858-81-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

DRY C.I. PIGMENT RED 57:1, DRY PIGMENT COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THEM
-
Page/Page column 10, (2010/11/25)
The present invention provides a dried C.I. Pigment Red 57:1, which is characterized in that a BET specific surface area as measured by a nitrogen adsorption method is from 60 to 110 m 2 /g and a total volume of pores having a diameter within a range from 0.1 to 3.0 μm as measured by a mercury penetration method is from 1.30 to 2.00 ml/g, or a dried pigment composition comprising rosins and a C.I. Pigment Red 57:1. The pigment is obtained by adding an aqueous solution containing a 2-(3-carboxy-2-hydroxynaphthylazo)-5-methylbenzenesulfonic acid water-soluble salt to an aqueous solution containing an inorganic calcium compound enough to convert the entire water-soluble salt into a calcium salt, and converting the mixture into a lake, followed by heating, filtration and further drying.
