Description

Ethyldichloroarsine is a colorless, mobile liquid with a fruity, biting, and irritating odor. It has a boiling point of 168°F and is denser than water, with vapors heavier than air. The vapor pressure of Ethyldichloroarsine is 2.3 mm at 71°F. It decomposes when exposed to water and attacks brass but not iron (dry). Ethyldichloroarsine is soluble in alcohol, benzene, ether, and water. It is very toxic by inhalation, and its vapors can irritate the eyes and skin.
