The invention discloses a 3-cyanoisoxazoline N-oxide compound and a synthesis method thereof. The structural formula of the prepared compound is shown in the specification. In the formula, R is a phenyl, 4-methylphenyl, 4-tert-butylphenyl, 4-isopropyl phenyl, 4-methoxyphenyl, 4-trifluoromethylphenyl, 4-fluorophenyl, 4-chlorphenyl, 4-bromophenyl, 4-(1,1'-biphenyl), 2-acetoxyphenyl, 2-naphthyl, 2-thienyl, or 5-(benzo-1,3-dioxocyclopentane)yl group. According to the invention, copper nitrate trihydrate is used as a nitrogen and oxygen source, dimethyl sulfoxide is used as a solvent, the raw materials are simple and easy to obtain, operation is simple, conditions are mild, reaction is environment-friendly, and yield is generally excellent.
