622387-85-3 Usage
Description
3-(1-METHYLINDOL-3-YLMETHYLENE)-2-OXO-2,3-DIHYDROINDOLE-5-SULFONIC ACID AMIDE, also known as OXSI 2, is a Syk selective inhibitor. It is an oxindole compound that potently blocks Syk activity, a non-receptor tyrosine kinase involved in platelet function and inflammation. OXSI 2 has an IC50 value of 14 nM and effectively inhibits FcεRI-mediated rat RBL-2H3 basophil cell degranulation (EC50 = 313 nM). At a concentration of 2 μM, it completely abolishes convulxin-induced platelet aggregation and shape change.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 622387-85-3 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 6,2,2,3,8 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 622387-85:
(8*6)+(7*2)+(6*2)+(5*3)+(4*8)+(3*7)+(2*8)+(1*5)=163
163 % 10 = 3
So 622387-85-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A series of oxindoles demonstrating inhibition of the phosphorylation of biotinylated substrates of Syk and IgE/FcεRI triggered basophil cell degranulation has been identified. A study of the SAR around sulfonamide 31 (IC50=5 nM, EC50=1400 nM) is discussed. The modest cellular activity representative of the sulfonamide series was overcome when the Polar Surface Area was lowered to 2, leading to the identification of amide 32 (IC50=145 nM, EC50=100 nM).
