Description
Acid Blue 158 is a synthetic dye characterized by its green light blue color and dark blue powder form. It is soluble in water, producing a blue solution, and also soluble in alcohol. When mixed with strong sulfuric acid, it turns blackish green, but upon dilution, it reverts to blue. In a thick solution of sodium hydroxide, it exhibits a purple color. The presence of copper ions in dyeing results in a dark hue. Acid Blue 158 is known for its good discharge and exhaust dyeing properties.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 6370-08-7 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 6,3,7 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 6370-08:
(6*6)+(5*3)+(4*7)+(3*0)+(2*0)+(1*8)=87
87 % 10 = 7
So 6370-08-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
