Description

Sulphon Black RA is a red light black dye that exhibits moderate solubility in water, resulting in a violet black color. It is slightly soluble in ethanol, producing a purple shade. The dye's color changes when exposed to strong sulfuric acid, turning greenish-blue, and when diluted, it becomes a deep red. In an aqueous solution, the addition of strong hydrochloric acid results in a deep red precipitate, while the combination with strong sodium hydroxide solution yields a purplish-red color.

Uses

Used in Textile Industry:
Sulphon Black RA is used as a dye for coloring textiles due to its ability to produce a range of shades from violet black to deep red, depending on the chemical environment. Its light fastness, soaping, perspiration fastness, and resistance to oxygen bleaching and seawater make it a suitable choice for various textile applications.
Used in Leather Industry:

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 6527-60-2 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 6,5,2 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 6527-60:
(6*6)+(5*5)+(4*2)+(3*7)+(2*6)+(1*0)=102
102 % 10 = 2
So 6527-60-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
