General Description
Synthetic acrylic rubber, also known as polyacrylate (ACM) rubber, is a type of synthetic rubber composed of acrylic acid and various other polymers. It is known for its excellent resistance to heat, ozone and weather conditions, making it suitable for use in automobile applications, such as transmission seals, hoses, gaskets and o-rings. However, it does not fare well with water or alcohols. It also generally has a higher cost and lower dynamic performance compared to other rubbers.
