Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 7023-78-1 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 7,0,2 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 7023-78:
(6*7)+(5*0)+(4*2)+(3*3)+(2*7)+(1*8)=81
81 % 10 = 1
So 7023-78-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
