General Description
BOC-TYR(ET)-OH is a chemical compound that consists of a tyrosine molecule with an ethyl (ET) functional group attached to the side chain. The BOC group at the N-terminus of the molecule serves as a protective group for the amino group of tyrosine, preventing it from interfering with reactions in which the tyrosine side chain is being modified. BOC-TYR(ET)-OH is commonly used in peptide synthesis and can be converted to its active form by removal of the BOC group under mild acidic conditions, allowing for the subsequent coupling and modification of the tyrosine residue in peptides and proteins.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 76757-91-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 7,6,7,5 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 76757-91:
(7*7)+(6*6)+(5*7)+(4*5)+(3*7)+(2*9)+(1*1)=180
180 % 10 = 0
So 76757-91-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
