Usage

Description

Acid Orange 51 is a red light orange dye with a dark red light orange powder form. It is soluble in water, ethanol, and glycol ether. The dye exhibits different colors in various acidic solutions, such as deep blue light green in strong sulfuric acid, brown in dilute precipitation, and olive in nitric acid solution. Its water solution appears brown, turning blu-ray black upon the addition of strong hydrochloric acid, with precipitation.

Uses

Used in Textile Industry:
Acid Orange 51 is used as a dye for wool, silk, and polyamide fiber dyeing. It is also used in wool blended fabric or viscose fabric printing directly.
Used in Leather Industry:
Acid Orange 51 is used for leather coloring.
Used in Soap Industry:
Acid Orange 51 is used for soap coloring.
Used in Hair Dye Industry:
Acid Orange 51 is often used alone for hair dyeing and is also used for coloring scattered tops.
