Usage

Description

Storax oil, also known as liquidambar oil, is a natural essential oil derived from the styrax balsam of Liquidambar orientalis Mill. (Turkey) and Liquidambar styraciflua L. (Honduras) trees. It is a colorless to pale-yellow liquid with a sweet, balsamic odor and a styrene-like top note. The oil is obtained by steam distillation of the crude resin in approximately 0.5 to 1.0% yields.
