Usage

General Description

Rentiapril is a combination drug that contains two active ingredients, amlodipine and perindopril. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that helps to relax the blood vessels, reducing the workload on the heart and improving blood flow. Perindopril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor that works to relax the blood vessels and decrease the amount of water and salt retained by the kidneys. Together, these two ingredients help to lower blood pressure and improve overall heart function in patients with hypertension and other cardiovascular conditions. Rentiapril is prescribed to patients who require treatment for high blood pressure, as well as for those who have experienced heart failure or complications from coronary artery disease.
