Description
Tetrasodium 3,3'-[(1,6-dihydro-6-oxo-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyl)bis[imino(5-methoxy-2-methyl-4,1-phenylene)azo]]bis(naphthalene-1,5-disulphonate) is a brown powder that is soluble in water and slightly soluble in alcohol. It exhibits different colors in the presence of strong sulfuric acid (purple) and sodium hydroxide solution (orange).
Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
Tetrasodium 3,3'-[(1,6-dihydro-6-oxo-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyl)bis[imino(5-methoxy-2-methyl-4,1-phenylene)azo]]bis(naphthalene-1,5-disulphonate) is used as a dye for cellulose fiber materials such as cotton and hemp. It is suitable for dyeing and printing processes.
Used as a Type D Dye:
Tetrasodium 3,3'-[(1,6-dihydro-6-oxo-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyl)bis[imino(5-methoxy-2-methyl-4,1-phenylene)azo]]bis(naphthalene-1,5-disulphonate) can be used as a type D dye for dyeing polyester/cotton or polyester/stick blended fabrics in a single bath process.
