85391-05-5 Usage
General Description
H-MET-OIPR HCL, also known as H-Methionine-O-isopropyl hydrochloride, is a chemical compound related to methionine amino acid. The "HCL" on the end indicates that it is in its hydrochloride salt form. Being a methionine derivative, this substance commonly used in biochemical research, particularly in the study of protein synthesis and metabolism. Methionine is an essential amino acid for humans, which means bodies cannot produce it and it must be obtained through the diet. However, this specific compound's applications can vary highly depending on the context and the field of study. This is a specialized chemical reagent and is not typically used outside of scientific research or industrial applications.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 85391-05-5 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 8,5,3,9 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 85391-05:
(7*8)+(6*5)+(5*3)+(4*9)+(3*1)+(2*0)+(1*5)=145
145 % 10 = 5
So 85391-05-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

supporting information, p. 1197 - 1201 (2016/12/18)
2′-α-C-Methyl-2′-β-C-fluorouridine and its phosphoramidate prodrugs were synthesized and evaluated for their inhibitory activity against HCV. The structure?activity relationship analysis of the phosphoramidate moiety found that 17m, 17q, and 17r exhibit potent activities against HCV, with EC50 values of 1.82 ± 0.19, 0.88 ± 0.12, and 2.24 ± 0.22 μM, respectively. The docking study revealed that the recognition of the 2′-β-F by Arg158, 3′-OH by N291, and the Watson?Crick pairing with the template allowed 23 to form the in-line conformation necessary for its incorporation into the viral RNA chain.
