877877-35-5 Usage
Description
TW-37 is a novel nonpeptide inhibitor of the Bcl-2 family proteins Bcl-2, Mcl-1, and Bcl-xL, with Ki values of 0.29 μM, 1.11 μM, and 0.26 μM, respectively. It has the ability to induce apoptosis, inhibit migration and capillary sprouting, and block the expression of angiogenic chemokines CXCL1 and CXCL8 in endothelial cells. TW-37 also decreases the density of functional human microvessels in the severe combined immunodeficient mouse model of human angiogenesis when administered intravenously. It demonstrates apoptotic action against leukemia, lymphoma, and pancreatic cancer cells.
Uses
Used in Cancer Therapy:
TW-37 is used as an inhibitor of Bcl-2, Mcl-1, and Bcl-xL proteins for its apoptotic action against leukemia, lymphoma, and pancreatic cancer cells. It suppresses growth and enhances cisplatin-induced apoptosis in ovarian cancer cells, making it a potential therapeutic agent for various cancer types.
Used in Angiogenesis Inhibition:
TW-37 is used as an inhibitor of angiogenesis for its ability to decrease the density of functional human microvessels in the severe combined immunodeficient mouse model of human angiogenesis when administered intravenously. This property makes it a candidate for treating conditions where angiogenesis plays a role, such as cancer progression.
Used in Anti-migration and Anti-capillary Sprouting:
TW-37 is used as an inhibitor of migration and capillary sprouting for its ability to block these processes in endothelial cells. This can be beneficial in preventing the spread of cancer cells and the formation of new blood vessels that support tumor growth.
Used in Chemokine Expression Blockage:
TW-37 is used as a blocker of angiogenic chemokines CXCL1 and CXCL8 expression in endothelial cells. By inhibiting the expression of these chemokines, TW-37 can potentially disrupt the signaling pathways that promote angiogenesis and tumor growth.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 877877-35-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 8,7,7,8,7 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 877877-35:
(8*8)+(7*7)+(6*7)+(5*8)+(4*7)+(3*7)+(2*3)+(1*5)=255
255 % 10 = 5
So 877877-35-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
