PRIMARY ROUTES OF EXPOSURE AND TARGET ORGANS
Eyes, skin, upper respiratory system, gastrointestinal tract.
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE
(1) ACUTE OVEREXPOSURE
Eye contact may cause localized burning or irritation. Inhalation may cause irritation of the upper respiratory tract.
Ingestion may cause irritation of the gastrointestinal tract. If large quantities are ingested, severe metabolic acidosis
may occur, followed by muscular irritability, myoglobin in urine, and elevated serum creatine phosphokinase.
(2) CHRONIC OVEREXPOSURE
Exposure to dimethylamine may result in liver damage. Tubular degeneration of the testes was noted in male monkeys
and rabbits under going inhalation studies.

vomiting by administering syrup of Ipecac (30 ml for adults, 12 years and older; 15ml for children under 12 years) follow
with a 30 to 50 gram slurry of activated charcoal. Seek medical attention immediately. INHALATION: Remove victim
to fresh air. If not breathing administer artificial respiration. Seek medical attention.
