(1) properties:

it’s a kind of colorless and transparent liquid, irritative to eyes and skin, it is soluble in alcohol, ether and benzene etc, but only slightly soluble in water. its density (@ 20°c): 1.2699g/cm³; freezing point: -17°c; boiling point: 213-214°c.

(2) usages:
