Description

GIBBERELLIC ACID POTASSIUM SALT is a white crystalline powder that is odorless and deliquescent. It is soluble in water, alcohol, and acetone and is a salt of gibberellic acid. It is a plant growth regulator that promotes and controls the development of malt in grain and can be used as a supplement to plant growth media such as Murashige and Skoog media.

Uses

Used in Plant Growth Regulation:
GIBBERELLIC ACID POTASSIUM SALT is used as a plant growth regulator for promoting and controlling the development of malt in grain. It helps in the growth and development of plants by stimulating cell elongation and division.
Used in Plant Growth Media:
GIBBERELLIC ACID POTASSIUM SALT is used as a supplement to plant growth media such as Murashige and Skoog media. It helps in providing the necessary growth factors for the plants to grow and develop properly.
Used in Specific Plant Applications:

Gibberillic acids (GA) are important plant growth hormones that promote plant cell growth and elongation. Gebberillins promote rapid stem and root growth, induce mitotic division and initiate (break dormancy) and increase seed germination rates. The gibberellins are also involved in processes such as gravitropism, tensioning and floral display. Auxins influence the biosynthesis and signaling of GA. GA is involved in auxin-mediated primary root elongation by modulating auxin signaling and transport.
