Description

Birch Oil, derived from the buds, bark, and leaves of Betula alba and Betula pendula Roth, is a viscous, yellow liquid with a balsamic odor. It solidifies at low temperatures due to its paraffin content and is obtained through steam distillation, yielding 3.5 to 8% from buds, 0.4 to 0.5% from bark, and 0.4 to 0.5% from leaves.
