- Functionalized nitrogen-containing tertiary phosphine oxides
-
Several new functionalized tertiary phosphine oxides, namely o-, m-and p-dimethylphosphinyl-methyleneoxyanilines, bis(dimethylphosphinylmethylene)amine and N-dimethylphosphinylmethy-lene-∈-caprolactam have been synthesized. These compounds were prepared via alkylation of o-, m-and p-atninosubstituted sodium phenolates, aminomethyldimethylphosphine oxide and sodium salt of ∈-caprolactam with chloromethyldimethylphosphine oxide. The m-and p-dimethylphosphi-nylmethyleneoxyanilines and aminomethyldimethylphosphine oxide were acylated with benzoylchloride to the corresponding amides. The new compounds were chatacterized by analytical methods, IR, 1H-and 31P{H}-NMR spectroscopy.
