The invention discloses a synthesis process of oxadiazon intermediate nitrophenol, and the synthesis process comprises the following steps: adding metered dichlorophenol into a sulfonation nitration kettle, then dropwise adding concentrated sulfuric acid, after the reaction is completed, performing cooling, adding a solvent for dissolving, then directly dropwise adding mixed acid for nitration, and then performing hydrolyzing to obtain the intermediate 2, 4-dichloro-5-nitrophenol. Compared with a conventional nitrophenol synthesis method, the method has the advantages that the operation process is simple, the process route is simplified, sulfonation and nitration steps can be carried out in the same kettle, production equipment is reduced, discharge of phosphorus-containing wastewater is avoided, and the method has high industrial production value.
