Dane salt and process for preparing aminopenicillins therefrom
Amide-type Dane salts having the formula: STR1 wherein R is a group of the formula: STR2 wherein R2 is hydrogen and R3 is phenyl or substituted phenyl, R1 is cyano or nitro, and M is hydrogen, an alkali metal or a triloweralkylamine are disclosed, as well as a process for preparing α-aminopenicillins from these salts and 6-APA.
