- anti-inflammntory phamaceutical composition containing a novel acetylated flavonoid-type compound showing anti-inflammatory activity and method for synthesizing thereof
-
Gossypetin is a natural compound derived from a calyx of Hibiscus sabdariffa. According to the present invention, after raw 264.7 cells are treated with a compound represented by a chemical formula 1, an immunological activity of the cells was analyzed and compared. As a result, the expression of NLRP3 and NF-kB, which activate an inflammatory pathway, was confirmed to be significantly inhibited from the raw 264.7 cells treated with a novel flavonoid-based compound in accordance with the present invention. The results found that the novel flavonoid-based compound in accordance with the present invention inhibited an inflammatory mediator and inflammasome in macrophages and suppressed the secretion of TNF-andalpha; and IL-1andbeta; associated therewith. Therefore, as in an experimental example of the present invention, the novel flavonoid-based compound in accordance with the present invention has been confirmed to have an anti-inflammatory effect superior to that of a conventional gossypetin compound in the expression of an inflammatory disease in cells in which an inflammation activity is induced by treatment with LPS.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
