According to the present invention, provided is a transition metal compound which is highly reactivity to hydrogen and has a structure showing high selectivity to optical isomers among various stereoisomers during synthesis. Moreover, provided are a catalyst composition containing the same, and a method for producing an olefin polymer using the catalyst composition. The use of the transition metal compound of the present invention enables the production of olefin polymers which is ultra highly fluidic compared to existing catalysts with the same amount of hydrogen.
