(18) We have previously reported a monosubstituted achiral
anthracene derivative (ImAn), where an achiral imidazole group
was introduced at the 9-position of anthracene. The ImAn formed a
L3M type complex [(ImAn)3Zn2+] with Zn2+, which dimerized into
[(ImAn)3Zn2+]2 to give excimer-like emissions, while no chiroptical
properties were observed, see: Ogawa, T.; Yuasa, J.; Kawai, T. Highly
