It can also be used to catalyze the Heck coupling of nonactivated vinyl phosphates with electron deficient alkenes; the synthesis of benzo[b]thiophenes from thioenols and to prepare an active catalyst for Mizoroki-Heck and Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions.
