Sodium cholate Uses

Sodium cholate(361-09-1) has been used for prevention of gallstone generation. And known sodium cholate(361-09-1) can be used for anti-inflammatory, too.

Sodium cholate Production

Method 1, acids' precipitation method
Cattle (or sheep, pigs) bile [95% ethanol] → [heating reflux extraction] extract [Filter] → [distillation] extract [pH3-4] → bile acids in crude
or :Chicken (geese, ducks) bile [NaOH, boiled] → saponification solution [HCl, pH2] → total bile acid
Preparation of bile acid
Crude bile acids [Sour] → [95% ethanol] → [heating] [pH8-8.5, activated carbon] → bile acid
 Methods 2, ethanol extraction
Gall ointment [carbon] → dealing with gall bladder cream
Dealing with gall bladder cream [95% ethanol] → filtrate [Recovery of ethanol] → bile salt crude
Methods 3, salting method
Khan, crude bile salts [washing] → [drying, crushing] [95% ethanol extract] → [bleaching, evaporated] bile salts Boutique
Methods 4, to cholesterol as the raw material
Primary bile acid synthesis of cholesterol in a variety of enzymes, and through a series of catabolism and ultimately the formation of conjugated primary bile acid (cholic acid and chenodeoxycholic acid).
