1-(2,2-Dimethoxyethyl)-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-2,5-pyridinedicarboxylic Acid 2,5-Diethyl Ester is an intermediate used in the synthesis of Defluoro Dolutegravir (D228715), which is an impurity of Dolutegravir (D528800), a second generation HIV-1 integrase strand transfer inhibitor. Dolutegravir is currently in Phase III clinical trials for the treatment of HIV infection. Dolutegravir has been shown to potently inhibit HIV replication in cells such as peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), MT-4 cells and CIP4 cells infected with a self-inactivating PHIV lentiviral vector.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1246616-75-0 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,2,4,6,6,1 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1246616-75:
(9*1)+(8*2)+(7*4)+(6*6)+(5*6)+(4*1)+(3*6)+(2*7)+(1*5)=160
160 % 10 = 0
So 1246616-75-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

-
, (2013/06/27)
A process for preparing a compound represented by formula (Y1) or (Y2) [wherein Rx is an optionally substituted carbocyclyl lower alkyl, or the like] or a salt thereof, using a novel process for preparing a pyridone derivative represented by formula (X4) [wherein R1d is hydrogen, halogen, or the like; R2d is hydrogen, a lower alkyl optionally substituted with substituent E, or the like; R4d is a lower alkyl optionally substituted with substituent E, or the like; and R6d is a lower alkyl group optionally substituted with substituent group E, or the like].
