Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 258525-51-8 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 2,5,8,5,2 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 258525-51:
(8*2)+(7*5)+(6*8)+(5*5)+(4*2)+(3*5)+(2*5)+(1*1)=158
158 % 10 = 8
So 258525-51-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
