Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 3191-30-8 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 3,1,9 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 3191-30:
(6*3)+(5*1)+(4*9)+(3*1)+(2*3)+(1*0)=68
68 % 10 = 8
So 3191-30-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

(Chemical Equation Presented) We herein report a new synthesis of 2-(hetero)aryl-substituted pyridines via heteroarylation of arenes/heteroarenes through AlCl3-induced C-C bond-forming reactions. 2-Halopyridines bearing an electron-withdrawing group were reacted with a number of (hetero)arenes to give 2-aryl/heteroaryl-substituted pyridines in good yields.
