, p. 5410 - 5413 (2017)
A novel lutidine-based manganese PNP-pincer complex has been synthesized for the selective N-methylation of aromatic amines with methanol. Using borrowing hydrogen methodology, a selection of differently functionalized aniline derivatives is selectively methylated in good yields.
Synthesis of well-defined hyperbranched polyamides by condensation polymerization of AB2 monomer through changed substituent effects

supporting information; experimental part, p. 5942 - 5945 (2009/12/08)
Branching out: Condensation polymerization of AB2 monomer proceeds selectively from a core molecule owing to the change of substituent effects between the monomer and the polymer (see scheme). Hyperbranched polyamides are obtained with very low
