Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 5794-28-5 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 5,7,9 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 5794-28:
(6*5)+(5*7)+(4*9)+(3*4)+(2*2)+(1*8)=125
125 % 10 = 5
So 5794-28-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

, p. 2027 - 2030 (2010/06/15)

The heats of mixing of dilute aqueous solutions of calcium chloride and sodium oxalate with additions of 1-5 wt % NaCl at 298.15 K and the heats of dilution of calcium chloride solutions were measured. Increasing the sodium chloride content in a solution

Thermal analysis of calcium oxalate samples obtained by various preparative routes

Kutaish, Nazeeh,Aggarwal, Poonam,Dollimore, David

, p. 131 - 137 (2008/10/09)

The thermal analysis of various calcium oxalate samples obtained by precipitation from aqueous solutions, in the presence of urea and from methanol is reported. The occurrence of different hydrate forms is established and a kinetic analysis for the dehydration and subsequent decomposition stage establishes that the Arrhenius parameters are significantly altered by the preparative route, the initial dehydration, and the environmental conditions of the thermal analysis experiment.
