General Description

1H-Pyrrole-1,2-dicarboxylic acid, 2,3-dihydro-, 1-(1,1-dimethylethyl) ester, (S)- is a chemical compound that is also known as S-IBG or S-ibuprofen glycinamide. It is an ester of ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and is used as a chiral auxiliary in the synthesis of chiral compounds. 1H-Pyrrole-1,2-dicarboxylic acid, 2,3-dihydro-, 1-(1,1-dimethylethyl) ester, (S)- is known for its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties and is often used in the treatment of pain, fever, and inflammation. Its (S)-stereoisomer has been found to be more potent than its (R)-stereoisomer in terms of its pharmacological properties.
