TERBIUM AND DYSPROSIUM COMPLEXES WITH OPTIMISED ANTENNA, USED AS LUMINESCENT MARKERS
-
Paragraph 0155; 0159, (2020/08/12)
The present invention relates to luminescent lanthanide complexes comprising a chelating agent, formed of a macrocycle or ligand, complexing a lanthanide ion, as well as corresponding chelating agents and a process for detecting a biomolecule using said l

N-Acylphosphatidylethanolamine phospholipase D (NAPE-PLD) is a membrane-associated zinc enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of N-acylphosphatidylethanolamines (NAPEs) into fatty acid ethanolamides (FAEs). Here, we describe the identification of the first small-molecule NAPE-PLD inhibitor, the quinazoline sulfonamide derivative 2,4-dioxo-N-[4-(4-pyridyl)phenyl]-1H-quinazoline-6-sulfonamide, ARN19874.

A zwitterionic-salt-catalyzed electrophilic monobromination of arenes with high regioselectivity has been developed. Under mild reaction conditions, a wide range of monobrominated aromatic compounds can be obtained in excellent yields. The reaction can be operated using an extremely low catalyst loading (0.05 mol %) with the inexpensive brominating agent N-bromosuccinimide. The versatility of this catalytic protocol has been demonstrated by the scale-up reaction with a 0.01 mol % catalyst loading to provide the selectively halogenated compound in quantitative yield.
