Cefoxitin sodium Safety Profile

Mildly toxic by ingestion subcutaneous, and intravenous routes. Human systemic effects: aplastic anemia, interstitial nephritis, normocytic anemia. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of SOx, NOx, and Na2O.
