  In continuation of the study of the complexing ability of bis(hetarylhydrazones) of 2,6-diformyl-4-R-phenols, we synthesized a number of new ligands I and their complexes with copper(II) acetate and chloride (II and III, respectively). The compositions and structures of the compounds obtained were confirmed by elemental analysis (Table 1), IR spectroscopy, magnetochemistry, and conductometry.
